ABOUT CLUB

The 413 ELITE is a proud member of the American Basketball Association (ABA), and a Professional basketball club in Springfield, Mass. The city holds the title for being the Birthplace of Basketball, and home to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The goal of 413 ELITE is to provide, quality, entertaining and affordable professional basketball in a friendly safe environment. We want to electrify Springfield and bring back the spirit of the Basketball life from the neighborhoods.

Established in 2021. Playing in the American Basketball Association, the 413 ELITE are apart of the Northeast Division, alongside teams in Boston, Providence, New York, Long Island, New Jersey, and Canada.

The Founder/Owner of the 413 ELITE is Charles Evans. Evans, a native of Springfield grew up playing in every city league in western mass as a kid. He attended the High School of Science and Technology in Springfield where he played Basketball and Volleyball. He would later go on to play at Holyoke Community College in western mass but due to academics the teams season was cut short. Evans filled with determination to not let his basketball career end there, persevered to get back on the court and eventually landed a scholarship to Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, FL. He was selected to represent the USA Overseas from his stats in College, which he would eventually be recruited to play Professionally Overseas. Evans would go on to play 10 years Professionally Overseas in Italy, Switzerland, Tahiti, and in the States. From leagues such as the EuroLeague, FTBB, PBL, and the ABA… Evans also was a Player/Assistant coach last Season for the Nassau Pride in the ABA and is now Excited to make the transition from Player, Coach, to now Owner where he can pass the tools and knowledge he’s acquired from his adventures in Basketball to his Home Town. He plans on shining light on the talent in Springfield and surrounding areas, while also providing opportunities for the city.
