On November 4, 2023, the 413 Elite went head-to-head with the Bridgeport Kings in Bridgeport, CT for their second game in their second season as members of the American Basketball Association.

The Bridgeport Kings, who the 413 Elite played and bested twice in their inaugural season in the 2022-2023 season, were worthy competitors, but trailed behind the Elite for the entire game. The Elite kept their lead until the end and finished the game with 138 points and the Kings came in at 133 points.

The Player of the Game, sponsored by Springfield Stretching and Massage Therapy, was #12, Jerry “J-Buckets” Buchanon, who scored 38 points, stole the ball four times, snagged four rebounds, and participated in five assists.

413 Elite had seven players in double figures for the game. Charles Jackson, who scored 21 points, followed by Jeric Cichon, who scored 16, followed by Kamari Robinson’s Double Double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Jonathan Bell’s Double Double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Riyadh Asad who scored 10 points, and Jason Hernandez who rounded our double figure scorers with 10 points.

Entering game three undefeated, the 413 Elite is ready to welcome the Connecticut Surge to their home turf at the Springfield Boys & Girls Club on Carew Street in Springfield, Massachusetts on November 11. The team will celebrate Veterans Day and honor our servicemen and women at halftime.
