413 Elite Hosts Cornhole Fundraiser

On Sunday, July 23, 2023, the 413 Elite hosted the first Annual Battle of the Companies Cornhole Fundraiser at the Springfield Elks Lodge in Springfield, Massachusetts.
With the hope of making connections within the Springfield community and getting fans excited for the Elite’s second season, the event welcomed small and large businesses as sponsors and as participating teams, including Lowe’s, Follow My Steps Foundation, Ciro’s Restaurant, Big Y, The Republican, TD Bank, Best Fitness, FTC Custom, and more. Many individual community members also showed their support, which allowed for a cornhole bracket of 25 teams. Vendors such as DLF Studios, It’s A Wrap, and Magik Moon Mocktails and an appearance from 413 Elite mascot, Mr. Buckets, only made the event more fun.
The cornhole tournament began around noon and continued into the afternoon; every team exhibited positive attitudes and enjoyed the healthy competition between companies and friends. Throughout the event, members of the 413 Elite staff played music, made announcements, and hosted a silent auction and raffle. Later as the final bags were tossed, trophies were awarded to the top three teams.
As 413 Elite continues to grow, events such as the Annual Battle of the Companies Cornhole Fundraiser will serve as ways for the team to engage with their community and garner support for their upcoming seasons.
