413 Elite secures the win over the 518 Ballers at First Away Game of the New Year

In the much anticipated first road game of the New Year for the 413 Elite’s second half of the season as members of the American Basketball Association, the Elite took the win with a final score of 142 to 128 versus the 518 Ballers. This road game was held at Our Saviors Lutheran School in Colonie, NY on January 13, 2024.

In this close match, the 413 Elite led the majority of the game by a few points, besides the second quarter where the 518 Ballers had matched the Elite tieing the game at 70 apiece at halftime. For the first three quarters, the game was consistently close, but the 413 Elite edged above their competitors in the fourth quarter to secure the double digit victory.

The Springfield Stretching and Massage Therapy sponsored Player of the Game, was #12 Jerry “J-BUCKETS” Buchanon, who scored 40 points, snatched six steals, hit the boards with eight rebounds and worked the court with three assists.

413 Elite had a total of five scorers in double figures for the game. Jeric Cichon, who scored 33 points, followed by Darrick Boyd, who scored 26 points, followed by Charles Jackson, who scored 17 points, and Reilly Miller who scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

The 413 Elite are looking forward to their next game on January 20, 2024 versus the Bridgeport Kings at the Basketball Hall Of Fame. The two teams met in competition twice this season, and the 413 Elite took home the win on both occasions. The 413 Elite comes into this game ranked #14 in the country out of 100+ teams, and will take that energy to Bridgeport and beyond.
